Accessibility Statement

How [[LEGAL ENTITY NAME]] approaches accessibility, and how to tell us when we fall short.

· Last updated 28 September 2026

Our commitment

We want this site and our service to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control.

We treat accessibility problems as faults to be fixed, not as requests to be considered.

What we have done on this site

The booking flow in particular has been built with this in mind:

  • Every form control has a visible, associated label.
  • Errors are linked to their field so a screen reader announces them, rather than only showing them visually.
  • Focus moves to the relevant heading as you move through the booking steps.
  • Interactive controls meet a minimum 48-pixel touch target.
  • The site works with the keyboard alone, and focus is always visible.

Where we know we fall short

We do not claim conformance to a WCAG level. Claiming one without an independent audit would be misleading, and no such audit has been carried out.

We build to WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a target, and we check colour contrast, keyboard operation and screen-reader labelling as we go. That is a target we work to, not an achievement we have had confirmed.

We know of one limit in particular: this site has not been tested by people who actually use assistive technology day to day, which is the only test that really counts.

Accessible vehicles

Neither vehicle in our current fleet is wheelchair accessible — we do not operate a vehicle with a ramp or a lift. We would rather tell you that plainly than have you find out at the kerb.

A folding wheelchair or walker can normally travel in the luggage space. Tell us when you book so we keep room for it.

If you need a ramp- or lift-equipped vehicle, contact us before booking and we will tell you honestly whether we can arrange one through another operator.

Please tell us about any accessibility requirement when you book, so we can plan for it rather than improvise at the kerb.

Service animals

Service animals are welcome. Please mention yours when booking so your driver knows to expect it.

Telling us about a problem

If something on this site or in our service is not accessible to you, contact info@ridelikeroyals.com or call BUSINESS PHONE and tell us what happened and what you were trying to do.

We will acknowledge your report and tell you what we are doing about it. If a fix is going to take time, we will tell you what the workaround is in the meantime rather than leave you waiting without an answer.
